I discovered that we actually don’t need sympathy or pity from other people to effect a change. What we need to do, is believe in ourselves. When we assure ourselves that we’re good enough, and stand up to challenges, others will believe in us and stand up for us! I learned this after enduring several months of bullying and feeling inferior to the world.
Thank you for sharing your story. Congratulations on being brave!
Do you have to be brave to do something courageous?
I like that question. And I think the answer is yes, but — and here’s the good news — we all have the capacity to be courageous. Courage is always speaking to us, even in moments of fear and self-doubt. We just need to focus our energy on it and use it to armour us towards action.
